James E Minstrell

James Minstrell is Director of Operations, Technology Project Manager and a co-founder of FACET Innovations. He manages business concerns for the company and oversees technological systems.  As a Project Manager, he coordinates development of software for the Diagnoser assessment tools. In one way or another, he assists with all of our FI projects.

James received his BA in Geographic Information Systems from the University of Washington.  Additionally, he spends part of his time at University of Washington working on his Ph.D. in the Learning Sciences with advisor Dr. Philip Bell.  Concerned with sustaining educational technology projects beyond grant funding, he is also working on a Technology Entrepreneurship Certificate at the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and was selected as a 2006 WRF Capital/Gates Fellow.
